LockkBolt lock - SCM approved

The outboard engine lock, Lockk type OBL2, is suitable for securing bolt-on outboard motors. The lock is SCM approved and very easy to install.

The lock is placed on 1 of the motor bolts, so that it offers optimal protection against theft of your outboard motor. The lock therefore remains in place while using the boat.

The OBL2 is made of high quality stainless steel, 316, and is recommended and required by most insurance companies. 

The package contains the lock, a manual and a set of 3 original keys. These keys have a Key Code card. Store these well at home.

We advise you to immediately take a picture of the installed lock on your outboard motor after purchasing this lock and send it to your insurance company. 

Tips for using this lock:

- Insert one of the keys into the lock of the cylinder and turn it all the way to the right.

- When the key is turned all the way to the right, turn the head of the lock (the part where the key is in) a bit to the left. (the two partially turn against each other.) You may need to apply a little force for this.

- Now you can take the head off the lock.
